Terms of service
Last updated July 2026
These terms govern your use of Beacon. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read the messaging and calling sections carefully; using those features carries real legal obligations.
1. The service
Beacon provides an AI visibility audit, an AI-assisted website builder, a visibility dashboard, and optional add-ons such as website chat, an AI voice agent, and booking. Features run on a monthly pool of credits included with your plan, and may be added or changed over time.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be old enough to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account and for anyone you invite to it.
3. Billing, credits, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly, or annually where you choose annual billing. Each plan includes a monthly pool of credits that refreshes on your billing date; unused credits do not roll over unless stated. You may buy additional credits, and enable add-ons, from inside your dashboard.
You can cancel at any time, which stops future charges; completed charges are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and credit costs may change on notice.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Beacon to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, or generate deceptive, harmful, or prohibited content. We may suspend accounts that put the platform, its carriers, or other users at risk.
5. SMS messaging (A2P) compliance
If you send SMS, you must register your messaging use case (A2P 10DLC or equivalent), send only to recipients who gave prior express consent, honor opt-outs (STOP) immediately, provide HELP responses, and follow the TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and carrier rules. You are the sender of record and are responsible for your recipients’ consent. We may pause messaging that violates these rules or carrier policy.
6. Voice and calling compliance
If you use the AI voice agent, you are responsible for lawful calling: obtaining any required consent, providing call-recording notice where required, respecting two-party-consent states, honoring Do-Not-Call and revocation requests, and complying with the TCPA and applicable telemarketing and robocall laws. Emergency services are not supported.
7. White-label and reseller terms
On qualifying plans you may resell Beacon products to your own clients under your own brand. You remain responsible for your clients’ use and for the consent and compliance obligations above on their behalf. Wholesale terms are set in your reseller agreement.
8. Intellectual property and your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide and the sites generated for you. You grant us the rights needed to host and operate the service. The Beacon platform, software, and brand remain ours.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is.” Audit results and AI output are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate; they are not professional, legal, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior twelve months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve; continued use means you accept the changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
